Aeropress

You Will Need

  • Aeropress
  • Aeropress Filter
  • Scale
  • Timer
  • Kettle

Tasting Experience

Aeropress coffee has a clean taste with clearly defined flavor notes, thanks to the paper filter that stops oil and sediment from getting in the cup. The Aeropress can even make coffee concentrate similar to espresso.

Recipe

  • Coffee: 20grams
  • Grind Size: Medium Fine
  • Water: 230ml at 90-94° C
  • Brew Time: 2 min

Instruction

  • Grind the coffee into a medium fine grind size
  • Rinse the filter paper and Aeropress
  • Adjust the plunger below #4
  • Pour 50ml water for blooming
  • After 30 secs pour 180ml of water and fasten the filter cup
  • After 20-30 sec, flip the Aeropress and gently press the plunger
  • Pour a cup, sit back and enjoy!

Tips

If the coffee is too bitter, reduce your extraction time and adjust your grind size to be coarser.

Chemex

You Will Need

  • Chemex
  • Chemex Filter
  • Scale
  • Timer
  • Kettle

Tasting Experience

The Chemex bonded filters make the coffee maker a particularly good choice for the light and Light medium roast, such as fruity and classic. The paper don’t allow fines into the cup, creating a bright, clean and crisp brew that showcase the origin characteristics of lighter roasts.

Recipe

  • Coffee: 18grams
  • Grind Size: Medium Coarse
  • Water: 260ml at 90-93° C
  • Brew Time: 3-4 mins

Instruction

  • Rinse the filter paper and pre-heat the brewer
  • Pour the coffee ground evenly
  • Pour 40ml to 50ml of water for blooming
  • Wait 30 to 40 seconds
  • Pour 200ml to 260ml of water
  • Let the water drain completely
  • Pour a cup, sit back and enjoy!

Tips

If the whole process takes more than 4 minutes, please adjust the grind size to be coarser and if less than 3 minutes adjust to a finer grind size.

French Press

You Will Need

  • French Press
  • Scale
  • Timer
  • Kettle

Tasting Experience

The French Press is one of the simplest coffee brewers out there. It’s quick, straightforward, consistent,delicious. French press gives you absolute control over the infusion time (longer infusion time produced a bolder, stronger and eventually bitter cup).

Recipe

  • Coffee: 17grams
  • Grind Size: Coarser Grind
  • Water: 250ml at 90-93° C
  • Brew Time: 4 mins

Instruction

  • Pre-heat the French press
  • Pour the coffee grounds and distribute evenly
  • Pour 40ml of water and let it bloom for 30-40 secs
  • Pour remaining water until you reach 250ml
  • Place the lid on and gently press down on the plunger
  • Pour a cup, sit back and enjoy!

Pour Over

You Will Need

  • V60 Pour Over
  • V60 Filter
  • Scale
  • Timer
  • Kettle

Tasting Experience
